Zach is your every day soccer playing, Pokemon catching, easy going guy. He was awesome with getting up early and having Tara and I put our cameras in his face for an hour. I'm excited to see what he does with his life. Fingers crossed he's just heading a few miles away for college to the Air Force Academy.
taylor
Taylor's shoot was urban and nature. We finished her super cute city looks and as we were walking back to the car the rain came in full force. It was crazy! It poured the entire way to our next location and as we got there, the rain stopped and the sun came out! It was perfect timing! Did I mention that Taylor has been accepted to college?! What a smarty! So proud of this girl!
kierlyn and ryden
This brother sister combo was awesome. They got along but had that cute bother/sister feistiness. While Mom didn't find it quite as funny as Tara and I did, those two kept us in stitches! I absolutely LOVED my time with them AND, as we were finishing up the shoot I put together that her sister in law is one of my all time favorite co-workers from back in my teaching days! What a small world!!
mackenzie
I love it when girls come with their own ideas. Mackenzie did just that. She had amazing clothes and was super open to anything that I suggested but also brought things to express her interests. Plus, she's already committed to a school in Kansas for college! Check!
miss washington
No, but really. She was Miss Washington. I was lucky enough to learn from (and become friends with!) the uber talented Spanki Mills while I was in Seattle for the Chic Retreat a while back. She had this beautiful model for us to shoot. It wasn't until later that I saw her business card and realized that she is currently serving as Miss Washington. She was humble, cooperative, and so super sweet.
class of 2016 spokesmodels
I can’t believe my next spokesmodel shoot is just around the corner. My Class of 2016 Spokesmodels were off the charts fabulous, They were funny, goofy, beautiful, and so sweet. I have loved watching each of them grow this year on college… and have a fair bit of fun. Each one of these girls individually helped my business grow and changed me as a person. Plus, our shoot was SOOOOO much fun! We had fruit, giggles, cake, soda, laughs, music, smores, teasing… it was perfection. And the friendships made I hope will last a lifetime.
Elise
Elise is my cousin's daughter. She lives in Texas and she is beyond adorable. It feels like last month I was sitting on a couch holding her when she was just a few weeks old with all of her red hair! Now she's all grown up and so dang beautiful. I so love her and wish her nothing but success and happiness.
Kianna
Kianna's session turned out beautiful. I could see the stress in her face as the rain was pouring down around us. BUT, I build in time for rain because good old Colorado Springs is full of surprises! We found the most amazing little field with flowers and the most beautiful soft light. It was perfect! I can't thank Kianna enough for rolling with the punches.
Jason
Cheyanne
Cheyanne is just the cutest thing! She has the most beautiful green eyes that I loved photographing. She has such a kind soul. I absolutely LOVED her session and getting to know her mom, her second mom, and her sister! And, for the record, I've never had a senior get so many cat calls in my life! It was hilarious/awesome/disturbing. Ha!
Cassidy
Carey
Carey's shoot was amazing. The location was hand picked by her. She was raised riding horses so we headed out to Beyond the Arena for her session. It. Was Stunning. I could do every session out there! I can't thank Devon enough for allowing us to come out and enjoy Playboy (the horse... get your mind out of the gutter!) and her beautiful property!
Austin
I have known Austin since he was probably 12 years old. Now he's all grown up, (MUCH) taller than me, sweet, and just a little bit shy. I'm sure there is more than a handful of girls who are crushing on him. I had a lot of fun taking his pictures and he was a really good sport for putting up with his mama (who is a fab design blogger), Tara (my amazing videographer), and myself.
Class of 2016 Senior Spokesmodels
Before I get too caught up in my Class of 2017 Senior Season (which is completely sold out! woot!) I need to express my love and thanks to my Class of 2016 Senior Spokesmodels. They are beautiful, sweet, fun, silly, kind, and goofy. They make me feel young and loved. They appreciate their pictures and they appreciate each other. I wish I could just freeze time and not have them grow up quite yet. Girls, thank you for an amazing year. Thank you for being supportive of each other and of me and my business. I love each of you individually and absolutely would not have enjoyed this year nearly as much without you. Don't forget me and don't grow up quite yet!
Cheer {5th Annual Shoot!}
This year marked our 5th annual varsity cheer shoot for Pine Creek High School. Each year we give the girls some creative control (with guidance, of course.) This year we went with a "Spring Shower" theme. The girls all looked so darling in their rain boots and the umbrellas just added to the mood. I loved it and the rain even held off for us... although we were dressed to handle it! ;)
Mallory, the "Nice Cheerleader"
Mallory is incredibly sweet, a little bit quiet, and a lot bit smart. She's know for being the "nice cheerleader" which is such a compliment! (Although I must say, every single cheerleader I have ever photographed has been very, very sweet to me.) I loved taking pictures of her, playing with her doggies, and getting to know her amazingly darling family.

Tarryn
Oh Tarryn. You are the most adorable thing on the planet. I loved spending time with this girl and her mama. She was the absolute perfect way to finish up my senior season. The weather was amazing. The location was off the charts. And her personality was top notch. Plus, who is awesome enough to bring her own BMX bike (because she use to race, of course!)?? Tarryn!! Hair: Sara Munson
